Meet Ménesa

Hi, I’m Ménesa! I’m so glad you’re here!

I was born and raised in the beautiful Caribbean—the last of six children in a loving family. While we weren’t Jay-Z and Beyoncé rich, we were comfortable.

Our parents taught me my first lessons about personal finance and work ethics. My dad taught me about the advantages of having side hustles and the benefits of passive income. Our mom taught me about saving for a rainy day and made sure we had all the love, wisdom, and guidance we needed to thrive. Education was non-negotiable in our home, and from an early age, I understood its power.

That understanding led me to earn a full scholarship to study in New York—all expenses paid. It was an incredible opportunity. After graduating, I taught for a few years and then I made a bold decision.

I packed my bags and headed to London to study law. This time, there were no scholarships, no financial safety nets. Between student fees, accommodation and general living expenses, my savings soon dried up. My parents had retired and were living off my dad’s pension, so I had to figure it all out on my own—how to survive and thrive in a fast-paced, expensive city that was vastly different from the Caribbean life I knew and loved.

There were times I hit rock bottom as a struggling student. I had to fend for myself financially and it was scary. In this unfamiliar, unfriendly, environment with no financial support, I had to be sharp and strong — not just to get by, but to build a future. After making many mistakes, through life’s lessons and God’s blessings, I found my way.

Fast forward to today, and I’m proud to say I’m a savvy finance professional, an experienced teacher, a legal eagle, a loving wife, and a devoted mother. I’m also passionate about helping busy parents like myself and mothers returning to work, break free from financial stress, take control of their career, and unlock a life filled with success, options, and financial freedom.

When I'm not working my 9-5, creating planners & journals, writing books, or sharing insights in my YouTube videos, you’ll likely find me enjoying quality time with my family, swimming, or walking by the swan pond. Life’s about balance, right?
